Demo Policy

We are always on the lookout for innovative artists to join our roster. Our focus is on experimental electronic music from the Cascadian region, but we're open to working with artists of all styles and locations, provided the quality is there.

The best way to send a demo is to e-mail a link to your files to demos@d.iscontent.com. You can host the files on your own site as mp3s or a .zip file, link us to your MySpace page, or send us files through YouSendIt. Please include your contact information, and any biographical or press kit information you have. Links to video of live performances is also extremely helpful.

Under no circumstances should you e-mail us mp3s or other large files as attachments!

If you'd like to send us a physical demo CD or package, e-mail us and we'll give you a mailing address.

We listen to everything we receive, and we try to respond to all demo inquiries, but we may not respond immediately.

About D.iscontent

D.iscontent is a label-like thing, headquartered in Cascadia and founded by Dylan Abbott and Timm Blakley. Not exactly a label, but more like a crew, as the hip hop kids would say. Our mission is to promote diverse and eclectic music from the Cascadian region, and beyond, with a focus on experimentalism and creativity. We want to break boundaries, ignore genres, build bridges, and enjoy ourselves doing it. You should be our friend for life.

Despite the dot after the “D”, D.iscontent is pronounced the way you would normally pronounce it. The dot is silent.
